Description
The term “cookies” refers to small strings of text (letter and/or numbers) which sites visited by the user send to the user’s terminal (usually the browser) or mobile device, where they are stored before being resent to the aforementioned sites upon subsequent visits by the same user. Given the considerable potential persistence and invasiveness of these tools to the user’s privacy, European and, particularly, Italian regulations state that users should be suitably informed regarding the use of these cookies, and they must give their valid consent for them to be used.
